Towards the end of the month I shifted my focus to Barns Ness for migrant passerines. There wasn't much in the way of scarce birds but the above Grasshopper Warbler was one of three that were singing deep in the scrub south of the campsite.
There were also 10 Whimbrel on the rocks one morning, but other than that it was just the usual suspects...
And when there are no birds to photograph, there are always plenty of cute bunnies at Barns Ness...
